Dedication and Identity: You are the Temple!

The rededication of the Temple in the days of the Maccabees was more than the restoration of a building — it was a prophetic declaration that God had not abandoned His people. Though the holy place had been defiled, heaven had not withdrawn. The cleansing of the Temple announced that the Presence of the Holy One still desired to dwell among a consecrated people. What was polluted was removed. What was holy was restored. Light returned where darkness had ruled.

A light in dark times: why Chanukah matters!

As people around the world gathered last night to light the first candle of Chanukah, I want to explain that this feast is far more than a historical remembrance—it is a prophetic key. For this reason, I am stepping aside briefly from the current series to focus on Chanukah and why it must be studied, discerned, and understood for its end-time significance.

Rejecting the Old Nature: A Holy Defiance

As we walk deeper into our walk, we come face to face with a reality that cannot be ignored: the old nature does not quietly step aside. It must be put off. It must be denied. It must be crucified. Identity in Yeshua (Jesus) reveals who we are. Still, surrender begins to reshape us—and now we learn that walking in the Spirit requires a holy defiance against everything in us that belongs to the old life.

The Surrendered Will: Yielding Daily to the Spirit

Now that we have laid the foundation—that identity becomes calling—we move into the first and most essential expression of our response: surrender. Identity without surrender becomes theory. Identity with surrender becomes transformation. Knowing who you are in Yeshua (Jesus) must lead to a yielded life, because the Spirit does not shape what we withhold. He forms what He fills, and He fills what is fully surrendered.

The King of Eternity Revives Those Contrite in Spirit!

The Yamim Nora’im, the Days of Awe, are designed to awaken us to the greatness of God and the frailty of man. Isaiah’s words capture this tension perfectly: the Holy One is enthroned in eternity, far above all creation — and yet, He chooses to dwell with the humble and contrite. This is the mystery of repentance: the God who is infinitely high draws near to the one who bends low.

Don’t stop now – more truth and grace await.

The Arm that Saves Alone!

This is one of the most intimate revelations of the Z’roah in Scripture. God looks for a human intercessor but finds none. No man can bridge the gap. So His own Arm accomplishes the work. In Hebrew, v’tosha lo zeroa — “His arm saved for Him” — reveals that salvation originates from within God Himself, not from any outside help. Isaiah adds that His own righteousness sustained Him — it upheld His resolve to save — and His fury upheld Him, a holy passion that would not rest until justice was accomplished.

From Cherith to Carmel: God’s Pathway to Revival!

Every true move of revival begins where few look for it—at the hidden brook, in the quiet place of God’s pruning. Cherith (נַחַל כְּרִית) means to cut off, to separate, to covenant. Before Elijah could stand on Mount Carmel and call down fire, he had to be separated, set apart for God’s purposes.
