The issue is not just imitation; it is ingestion. It is not only what is growing in the field, but what is being received into the heart.

From Prison Chains to Paul’s Pulpit

Paul’s chains were never meant to silence him—they were positioned to amplify the gospel. What looked like restriction in the natural became authority in the Spirit. Locked doors did not limit Heaven’s voice; they focused it. In the depths of a jail cell, bruised and bound, Paul and Silas did not negotiate with despair — they worshiped. And when praise rose, authority answered. The earth shook, doors flew open, and chains fell –not because Paul demanded escape, but because Heaven responded to alignment.

Guarding the Heart: Protecting the New Creation Life

The new creation life is a precious work of God, and Scripture makes one thing clear: what God births must be guarded. Your identity in Messiah is secure, but the heart that carries it must be protected. Proverbs 4:23 commands us to guard our hearts with all diligence, for from it flow the issues of life. The heart is the wellspring of thought, desire, and direction — and whatever gains access there will shape how we live.

Renewing the Mind: Thinking Heaven’s Thoughts

The life of the new creation is lived from the inside out, and the primary battleground is the mind. Salvation transforms the spirit in a moment, but transformation of the mind is a daily work of the Spirit. The new creation cannot be sustained with old thought patterns. If identity is to be lived out fully, the mind must be renewed to agree with heaven rather than echo the world.

Speak up already!

The burglar froze in place, allowing the woman to call the police and report the burglary calmly. When the police arrived and detained the man, the officer curiously asked him, “Why did you stop when she cited scripture?” The burglar, still shaken, replied, “Scripture? I thought she said she had an ax and two .38s!”
