		<description><![CDATA[Pointing out, as you mentioned, the &quot;prophetic past&quot; is very important for all of us to remember.  The translators did their best, but such nuances are very difficult to convey.  When God makes a promise it is not a promise that will be fulfilled sometime in the future - it is fulfilled though perhaps not yet realized.  e.g., God did not tell Abraham that his future generations would be blessed, but rather they are blessed - a promise from God is a covenant fulfilled the isntant it is entered into.  Thank you so much for your daily devotions - we proudly stream them onto our website every day for the blessing of our visitors.
